What is glove yarn? Characteristics of glove yarn Classification of glove yarn raw materials

What is glove yarn? Glove yarn is mostly recycled yarn. It refers to the yarn produced by using some leftover materials or waste silk produced in the process of spinning, weaving and garment processing as raw materials and reprocessing the fiber materials. The property or structure of the fiber is the same as that of natural fiber or chemical fiber.

Features and requirements of glove yarn:

1. High breaking strength, generally 40% higher than that of cotton thread of the same specification;

2. Good abrasion resistance, generally 1 times higher than cotton thread of the same specification;

3. The shrinkage rate is small, only about 0.5%. It is suitable for sewing chemical fiber fabrics and wrinkle resistant high-grade cotton fabrics, with flat stitches;

4. With good heat resistance, it can adapt to high-speed sewing machines with a speed of 3000-4000r/min, and the ironing temperature is about 160 ℃;

5. Good softness and elasticity, suitable for sewing high-grade chemical fiber fabrics.
